The Flavor Bible

This looks like a useful book, if you want to know how to mix and match in the kitchen. Before Christmas I cooked this for friends and discovered the wonders of thyme and lemon zest together (remember that frozen turkey dilemma? - well I did this first, then froze it straight away (apparently you don't let turkey cool to room temperature first - that's bad, bad, bad), then thawed it later and it was fabulous - probably kept moist and lovely by the rather excessive amount of butter, but anyway, you only do these things once a year).
