Ways of spreading light

To create or reflect light is another raison de’être of this here Substack - though admittedly not every post reaches it - so I’m storing this quote. It came back again recently in his weekly compilation but this post by Austin Kleon was a good reminder (excuse the language).

I have a tiny patch of dirt along the back fence of my otherwise paved courtyard, and there grows an evergreen magnolia, which, rarely enough to add to the delight when it does, flowers as in this photo, and my neighbours enjoy it too.
