I have been hurried and harried past the new David Jones window displays each morning this week on my way to work, taking in what I could as I passed, so on the way home today I stopped to smell the roses, in disregard of the other bustling peak-hour pedestrians, and paused before each window on Elizabeth, Market and Castlereagh Streets.
